We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Love's Travel Stops. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to move products and materials within the warehouse
- Load, unload, and move products using a warehouse management system (WMS)
- Perform daily safety checks on equipment and report any issues to management
- Meet individual performance metrics and goals, including productivity and accuracy standards
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve warehouse goals and objectives
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment
- Forklift certification
- Ability to learn and operate all facility equipment, including computers and powered industrial equipment
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
