Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic procedures with precision and accuracy, utilizing advanced technical skills.
  • Maintain a strong focus on patient interaction, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the process.
  • Recognize and assess patient conditions that are critical for successful imaging outcomes.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to elevate the standard of care.

Qualifications:

  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Valid Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License from the Department of Public Health.
  • Comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Expertise in radiographic positioning and exposure techniques.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and practices.
