Patient Care Associate/32hr Nights-3 West

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Associate to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with direct patient care needs, including activities of daily living and vital sign monitoring.
- Foster a healing environment by promoting respect, kindness, and cultural sensitivity.
- Contribute to the plan of care through ongoing communication with the registered nurse.
- Assist with patient data and specimen collection, including vital signs and blood glucose testing.
- Support a Culture of Safety by identifying and reporting safety concerns and participating in hourly rounding.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Successful completion of the literacy exam with a score of 80% or better (PCA Training Program candidates only).
- CPR training required.
- Knowledge of English language sufficient to read, speak, and write accurately.
- Ability to lift and transport patients using the appropriate physical technique in a safe manner for the patient and self, according to Safe Patient Handling Guidelines.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant preferred.
