Role Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Professional at APM, your duties will include:

  1. Coordinate psychiatric evaluations and re-evaluations
  2. Complete comprehensive behavioral evaluations (CBE)
  3. Administer counseling/therapy to clients
  4. Follow up with clients on initial evaluations, focusing on diagnosed problems
  5. In collaboration with clients, develop individualized treatment plans that are observable and measurable
  6. Document client progress and/or regression in DAP notes
  7. Ensure services align with treatment plans and goals are being followed
  8. Assess clients' psychosocial needs and provide therapeutic support
  9. Provide knowledge of community resources for referrals when necessary
  10. Coordinate with primary care physicians and other agencies involved in client care
  11. Work with the treatment team to develop discharge and aftercare plans
  12. Alert other professionals of adverse reactions to psychotropic medication or suspected abuse
  13. Maintain accurate clinical charts
