Position Summary:


The Overnight Hotel Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions within the hotel. This position involves reconciling cash registers, preparing management reports, and verifying guest billing accuracy.

Additionally, the auditor will communicate effectively with management regarding any discrepancies and will also perform front desk duties, including guest check-in and check-out processes.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Reconcile all hotel cashier transactions and ensure accurate financial reporting.

2. Prepare and distribute daily and month-end reports in accordance with hotel standards.

3. Conduct audits of front desk and food & beverage cashier operations.

4. Manage credit card transactions efficiently and accurately.

5. Maintain clear communication with management regarding operational or financial irregularities.

6. Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through attentive service.

7. Address guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; experience in hospitality preferred.

- Proficiency in computer systems and financial reporting.

- Flexibility to work overnight shifts and extended hours as needed.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

- Must demonstrate a friendly and welcoming demeanor towards guests and colleagues.

In this role, you will contribute to the overall success of the hotel by ensuring financial integrity and providing outstanding service to our guests.
