Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Adelphi Medical Staffing. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive physical therapy services to students in a special education setting.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve strength, mobility, coordination, and endurance in students.
- Deliver, evaluate, and adjust physical therapy interventions as approved by the Medical Doctor and the IEP team.
- Assist students in learning positional transitions, balance skills, and gross motor skills required for academic success.
- Make recommendations for adaptations in the classroom and/or dormitory to improve functional mobility.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure quality services for students and minimize schedule conflicts.
- Degree in Physical Therapy
- Active and unrestricted AR license
- CPR Certification
- SCPI certification/Able to communicate at an intermediate level using American Sign Language (ASL)
- 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist with pediatrics
- 2 years of experience working with behavior modification and execution of behavior plans
- 3 years of experience working with students with multiple disabilities
