We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team in a PRN capacity. As a psychiatric nurse, you will work closely with patients and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and support.
Responsibilities- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and provide assigned patient care within the general policies, philosophy, and objectives of the Department of Nursing and the hospital.
- Monitor the physical and mental health and safety of psychiatric patients and/or individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Communicate with other healthcare practitioners regarding health status and collaborate with other staff regarding healthcare issues.
- Provide a variety of related services to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
- Graduation from an LPN program with a minimum of one year of licensed practical nursing experience, preferably in a psychiatric mental health setting.
- Current license to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS/BCLS certification.
- Experience as an LPN in a long-term care or inpatient psychiatric setting.
