**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced General Dentist to join our team in Alaska. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patient problems with teeth, gums, and mouth tissue. You will cover oral care needs for patients of all ages, prevent problems, and provide necessary information before and after treatment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating patient teeth health for optimal treatment plans.
- Completing treatments for affected, decayed, and fractured teeth, and performing extractions for high decay levels.
- C onsidering treatment options with patients and determining the best fit based on their situation.
- Monitoring and evaluating x-ray images for the oral cavity.
- FOLLOWING standard dentistry procedures and company SOPs.
- Referring patients to specialists for advanced procedures and care.
- Collaborating with clinical staff to provide quality treatments.
- Coordinating with office staff to manage appointments and achieve productivity goals.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A graduate degree from an accredited dental college or university.
- Current licensure to practice dentistry in Alaska or the ability to obtain licensure within the expected timeframe.
- Practicing experience as a dentist in Alaska or related dental experience in the US.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and basic computer skills (MS Office Suite).
