Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at East Cobb Health Park. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety, and providing exceptional patient care.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Obtain complete clinical history, gather examination data, and assess for contraindicating conditions.
  • Follow established procedures for the administration of contrast media to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Ensure that all studies have proper patient identification and that images are reviewed for clinically acceptable results.
  • Respond to emergency situations and assist other technologists as needed.
  • Verify correct patient identity prior to performing a procedure and maintain patient privacy and comfort throughout the exam.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R certification.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting caring for patients, preferably in an MRI clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to function independently and under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Competent in all aspects of MRI, patient positioning, pulse sequence parameters, and magnet safety.

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with physicians, patients, and other staff members.
