Position Overview:

The Artisan Bread Baker is an entry-level position responsible for mixing ingredients and preparing various baked goods. This role involves adhering to strict quality standards and ensuring the highest level of food safety and sanitation practices.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Prepare baked items by accurately measuring, mixing, and shaping dough to meet quality and freshness standards.
• Follow recipes meticulously to ensure consistency in product quality.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their inquiries.
• Assist in training fellow team members as necessary.
• Comply with all health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous baking experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of bakery products.
• Ability to operate mixers and other baking equipment safely.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and performing basic math calculations.
• Capable of interpreting and following detailed instructions.
• Strong customer service skills and effective communication abilities.
• Team-oriented with a flexible schedule, including the ability to work early mornings or overnight shifts.

Working Environment:

• The bakery area may be warmer than typical room temperature due to oven usage.
• The role requires frequent walking, standing, and lifting up to 70 lbs, along with occasional climbing and reaching.
• Repetitive hand movements may be necessary.
