We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Casual Float Staff RN. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who is looking for a flexible and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse range of patients, including those with complex medical needs.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 coverage for our patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of safety, respect, and open communication.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Previous hospital RN experience is preferred.
- BLS required or obtained within 3 months. ACLS preferred. PALS within 3 months of hire. NRP preferred. IV certified within six months of employment.
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and the ability to provide quality patient care.
- Ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.
- Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to and move patients in a safe manner.
- Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate.
- May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.
