The Facility Maintenance Specialist is tasked with ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and grounds. This role may also be known as a Sanitation Technician. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough cleaning of equipment and facilities using various methods.
- Perform scrubbing, sanitizing, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping tasks.
- Manage waste disposal, clean spills, replace air fresheners, change light bulbs, secure premises, paint, maintain water coolers, and prepare facilities for events.
- Clean offices, restrooms, break areas, and other designated spaces.
- Assist in moving furniture, supplies, and equipment as needed.
- Apply pest control measures, maintain outdoor areas, and clear walkways of debris.
- Engage in safety programs, utilize Personal Protective Equipment, and report maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities, monitor supply levels, and restock as necessary.
- Operate powered industrial trucks for material handling tasks.
- Consistently meet safety and efficiency standards.
- Follow directives from supervisors and maintain a tidy work environment.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Additional Duties:
- Support other production roles as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Ability to recognize colors and sizes, and accurately count and sort items.
- In certain locations, certification to operate powered industrial trucks may be required.
- Basic understanding of cleaning products and procedures, or willingness to learn.
- Capability to prioritize tasks and collaborate effectively with a team.
- Ability to work independently and follow both written and verbal instructions.
Education Requirements:
- No formal education requirement.
Physical Activity Expectations:
- Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting up to 90 lbs., with the ability to carry up to 50 lbs.
Environmental Conditions:
- Work will be conducted in both indoor and outdoor settings, including areas with large machinery, variations in temperature, and exposure to dust and odors.
Travel Requirements:

- Physical requirements necessitate the ability to meet demands throughout the entire shift.
