Job Title: CBTS - OpenStack Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled OpenStack Specialist to join our team at Saxon Global. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing OpenStack-based cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Multi-AZ, Multi-Region Private Clouds in OpenStack
  • Work on OpenStack projects such as Nova, Keystone, Compute, Block Storage (cinder) service Storage, Glance, Ceph, and others
  • Migrate OpenStack from one distribution to another (e.g., RedHat, Nokia CBIS)
  • Provide senior-level OpenStack expertise, including architecture, operations, and troubleshooting
  • Understand various OpenStack distributions, including RedHat and Canonical
  • Work with customers to migrate applications to the cloud
  • Prepare HLD and LLD documents
  • Provide technical leadership in adopting and contributing to open stack projects
  • Able to provide RCA for any Major Incident
  • Automation of day-to-day activity and creating SOP
  • Work on Planned/emergency Change approval and Change implementation
  • Prepare reports for weekly and monthly
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Hypervisor Vmware/RHV/Hyper-V/etc
  • Scripting (Bash and YAML)
  • Good understanding of ITSM processes and related tools
  • Secondary skills - Docker, Ansible or Terraform
  • Knowledge of cloud and services
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator in Red Hat OpenStack
Preferred Certifications:
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
  • Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA)
