Job Summary:

The Janitorial Worker provides cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas. This role is ideal for individuals entering the workforce or returning with limited experience and education.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain buildings and facilities
  • Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
  • Notify Manager of minor or major repairs or additions
  • Establish effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and management
  • Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards
  • Clean furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
  • Move furniture and equipment to clean areas
  • Clean interior partition glass, windows, and mirrors
  • Wash and replace blinds
  • Gather and empty trash
  • Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, and remove snow
  • Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No experience required, on-the-job training provided
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience
  • 1 year of similar work experience
