As the IT Architecture and Infrastructure Leader, you will be responsible for leading the development of effective, efficient, and sustainable technology solutions across the Bank. Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Enhancing the capabilities of the Data Warehouse through the implementation of innovative technology solutions and utilizing Business Intelligence and Analytics.
  • Working proactively and collaboratively across the FHLBank system and with external peers and vendors to identify emerging issues and trends, and providing strategic vision and insight into future needs and recommendations.
  • Actively managing risk through active participation in audits and examinations, and ensuring timely remediation of any findings.
  • Leading the development and implementation of technology policies and procedures based on business, regulatory, legislative, and internal control needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience as a leader within an IT organization and in information technology, within a financial services institution.
  • Outstanding leadership and motivational skills.
  • Outstanding communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate, build, and maintain strong relationships with business staff, vendors, auditors, and regulators.
  • Experience in the development, deployment, and support of technology solutions.
  • Experience with making build vs. buy and outsourcing decisions for significant technology initiatives.
  • Knowledge and experience with Information Security and Business Continuity.
  • Ability to listen, understand, and manage the expectations of business people.
  • Ability to continuously improve the quality of service being delivered while controlling the cost of service.
  • Experience in creating and implementing the IT strategic vision and plan.
  • Ability to respond to change in a fast-paced environment and strike a balance between strategic and tactical priorities.
  • Experience in structuring, managing, and implementing multiple projects to a successful conclusion.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting business cases with financial and business metrics for senior management.

Compensation Range:

Annual Salary: $159,000 - $178,111.00

This salary range represents the Bank's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This role is also eligible to participate in the Bank's annual incentive plan.

Most roles are eligible for our hybrid work schedule of 3 days per week in office, 2 days per week work-from-home. We match 100% of the first 6% you contribute to your 401(k), and provide an additional 4% non-discretionary contribution to your 401(k) at the end of year.
