**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Assistant I to join our team at the Holt/Geleoc Lab in Boston Children's Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology and be able to design and conduct complex experiments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Conduct molecular biology experiments, including cloning, PCR, and protein purification.

• Assist with planning research procedures and coordinating experiment schedules.

• Develop and troubleshoot new laboratory techniques.

• Maintain accurate records of results and methodologies.

• Analyze data and prepare charts, graphs, and study results.

• Demonstrate basic laboratory techniques to laboratory staff.

• Troubleshoot experimental results and specimen quality issues.

**Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or Psychology.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Prior lab experience is beneficial but not required.

• Experience with genomics, genetics, or molecular biology is a plus.

• A two-year time commitment is preferred.

**Compensation:**

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
