Job Summary:
The Magnetic Resonance Technologist is responsible for performing routine diagnostic MRI procedures, producing, assessing, and evaluating images and related data used by physicians to render medical diagnoses. The incumbent provides professional and compassionate patient care and participates in hospital committees and teams as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
MRI Tech I: $33.37 - $39.26 per hour
- Education: Graduate from an accredited technologist program.
- Experience: Six (6) months of experience as a Radiology Technologist or graduate of an accredited MRI program.
- Certificate(s): ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification within 18 months of employment and maintain MRI certification for continued employment.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited technologist program
- Experience: One (1) year of experience as a MRI Technologist
- Certification(s):
- Current American Registry of Radiological Technologist (A.R.R.T.) registration at time of appointment and for continued employment.
- Current Magnetic Resonance Imaging Certification at time of appointment and for continued employment.
