Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Spaulding Hospital North Shore. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide evaluation and treatment to a pediatric population with language, cognitive-communicative, articulation, pragmatic/social language, fluency, voice, and swallowing/feeding disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' language, cognitive, and communication skills, and develop individually tailored treatment plans to address their needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in a timely and accurate manner, and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments in speech language pathology, and participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Communication Disorders from an ASHA-accredited university program.
  • Licensed and in good standing in Speech Language Pathology by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.

  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
