Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented System Technical Specialist to provide technical support and assistance to resolve problems with our computer networks and systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal system performance and security, providing technical support to staff, and collaborating on various IT projects to support our technology needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement software applications, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems.
  • Manage and organize relevant data on our server/cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Provide technical support and training to users on the use of video conference software and systems, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Assist in the maintenance and support of server-based and web-based technology, ensuring optimal system performance and security.
  • Troubleshoot technology hardware and software issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for our ERP and MRP Systems, ensuring seamless business operations.
  • Advise users on standard tools and combinations of tools available to meet specific needs, ensuring efficient and effective use of technology.
  • Maintain knowledge of technological innovations and trends, ensuring our organization stays ahead of the curve.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting and maintaining ERP/MRP systems, with a strong understanding of computer and networking hardware and software systems.
  • Ability to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical staff and customers, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems.
