HonorHealth is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. As a RN in our NICU, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of critically ill newborns and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and implement treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' progress, identify potential complications, and take appropriate action to prevent or manage them.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize care delivery.
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited NLN/CCNE institution.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Arizona or Compact State licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least 10 months of experience in a med-surg or acute specialty setting.
- 1 year of RN experience for all Float Positions.
