Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL-A Local Intermodal Truck Driver to join our team at Schneider. As a Local Intermodal Truck Driver, you will be responsible for hauling freight containers secured to company-owned chassis, with 99% no-touch freight that is mostly drop-and-hook.

Key Responsibilities
  • Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
  • Drive in and out of railyards within North Central Utah.
Benefits

  • Longevity bonus: Earn 3% of annual gross pay each year.
  • Paid orientation.
  • Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
  • Live within 40 miles of Salt Lake City, UT.
  • Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience.
