POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are in search of a Senior Vice President to lead our Corporate Practice. This role offers the chance to enhance relationships with current clients while spearheading initiatives for new business ventures. You will be involved in a diverse array of client initiatives, encompassing reputation management, executive communications, internal messaging, and financial public relations. We seek individuals who are not only strategic thinkers but also hands-on practitioners, demonstrating excellence in leadership and client advisory roles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Formulate strategic, visionary plans for clients and articulate them effectively with supporting insights and sound reasoning.
- Design media relations strategies and execute outreach for various programs and projects.
- Grasp critical industry issues affecting clients, including product dynamics, competitive landscape, and broader industry challenges.
- Enhance business opportunities with current clients; broaden the scope of services through network capabilities; lead initiatives for new business acquisition.
- Ensure the sustainability and growth of client accounts.
- Commit to ongoing personal and professional development in leadership capabilities; establish and pursue ambitious goals.
- Promote continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team and across the agency through trend analysis and information management.
- Effectively oversee staff allocation to achieve profitability objectives.
- Build and sustain relationships with client stakeholders and internal agency collaborators.
- Maintain financial oversight for accounts, including forecasting and ensuring account profitability.
- Guide, mentor, and develop team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Provide strategic guidance and leadership, supervising multiple team members, and ensuring the quality and productivity of the team's output.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 12+ years of experience in Corporate Public Relations, with prior agency experience preferred.
- A proven track record of delivering effective creative and strategic counsel to clients, establishing credibility with senior-level contacts.
- A collaborative mindset, results-oriented approach, and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
- Ability to think strategically, creatively, and comprehensively about client initiatives.
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills, with experience in crafting and delivering client presentations, including proposals for new business.
- In-depth knowledge of reputation management and a solid understanding of both traditional and non-traditional media landscapes. A demonstrated history of building relationships with national business media and achieving client results.
- Strong background in corporate communications and established media relations contacts.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in mentoring and developing junior professionals.
COMPENSATION:
$128,000 - $201,000 annually
Salary range: $128,000 to $201,000/year USD.Compensation will be determined based on various factors including education, qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and organizational needs.
