Perishable Representative

H-E-B is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Perishable Representative to join our team in the Waco 08 Market. As a Perishable Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-stocked and well-maintained department, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

• Provide superior customer service, answering customer questions and assisting with product selections.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product on a daily basis, maintaining all department and food safety/sanitation standards.
• Merchandise product effectively, using suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and build department sales.
• Clean and sanitize display cases, properly operate/maintain equipment, and comply with H-E-B food safety and sanitation standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Computer systems knowledge, including Telxon, ACR, and label machine.

The Perishable Representative will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent exposure to wet and cold conditions. The ability to lift 90 pounds and manage in excess of 90 pounds is required.
