Job Description:
The Virginia Treatment Center for Children (VTCC) is a leading institution in mental health care for children and families. We are seeking an experienced Child Psychologist to join our team as a clinical and teaching faculty member.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and supervision of trainees from psychology, social work, psychiatry, and medicine
- Scholarly activities, such as program evaluation, research, publications, and presentations at national meetings
- Service on SOM committees and committees within VTCC to enhance and promote the service needs and policy making functions of the university and hospital
- Clinical responsibilities, including diagnostic assessments and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families in inpatient and outpatient settings
Required Qualifications:
- Virginia Licensed Clinical Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so
