We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operations Specialist to join our team at RTX. This role is a critical part of our mission systems, where you will be responsible for driving the production of complex electrical mechanical assemblies for both commercial and military applications.

As a Manufacturing Operations Specialist, you will lead technical efforts to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, analyzing workforce utilization, space application, and workflow efficiency. Your expertise will be key in designing layouts, reviewing specifications, and collaborating with design engineers to ensure manufacturability and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates technical support efforts to maintain smooth, effective day-to-day production activities
  • Helps analyze and plan workforce utilization, space application, and workflow; designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
  • Reviews and analyzes specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to ensure manufacturability
  • Develops concepts for new automation, machine tooling, fixtures, and processes
  • Works with design engineering staff concerning the ability to effectively produce the designed product and tooling to ensure efficient production methods and product quality
  • Develops and fosters a team environment
  • Trains others and communicates effectively with all levels of the organization to implement changes
