• Specialty Backup: General pediatrics, Pediatric Neurology, Infectious disease, University of Michigan Cardiology, Ophthalmology, and Neonatologists.
• Case Mix: Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Pulmonary Hypertension, Pneumothorax, Sepsis, Seizures, Stabilize surgical cases for transport out, VLBW, NAS.
• Required Procedures: Intubation, Chest tube placement, Placement of central lines, Paracentesis, Spinal taps, exchange transfusion, Thermal cooling, ventilator management including oscillators and iNO.
• Duties: Round and manage daily census. NNP takes first call at night while Neonatologist is called in with complex patients.
• Office Equipment: Diagnostics Full equipment, MRI, CT, EEG.
• NICU Level: III
