The Premier AG Co-Op Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Agronomy Account Manager Associate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with growers, and promoting the company's products and services.

Job Summary:

This position requires an associate's degree or a minimum of 4 years of agronomy sales experience. You will work closely with assigned grower customers to provide solutions that increase their productivity, reduce risk, and enhance the overall value of their farm operation. Your primary goal will be to transition into the Premier Ag Account Manager position by actively learning fundamental agronomy skills and becoming proficient in the company's product offerings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Actively learn and apply fundamental agronomy skills related to corn, soybeans, and wheat production.
  • Leverage your knowledge of crop production equipment, practices, and trends to provide valuable insights to growers.
  • Develop and execute effective sales calls with growers in identified trade areas to promote the company's products and services.
  • Maintain open communication channels with growers, suppliers, employees, and management at all levels to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to set personal goals and develop comprehensive action plans to increase sales within the region or territory.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of an associate's degree or 4 years of relevant experience in agronomy sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse work environments.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Earn an estimated $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on performance and experience.
