Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bank Teller to join our team in Moultrie. As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the teller drawer, and accurately processing transactions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service excellence and be able to meet or exceed sales and service objectives. If you are a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt, efficient customer service
  • Operate the teller drawer and perform advanced, specialized teller functions
  • Accurately process transactions and maintain knowledge of banking products and promotions
  • Identify customer needs, cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, and make referrals within the branch
  • Maintain a positive work environment and demonstrate the Ameris Approach

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in finance or related field preferred
  • 1 or more years of customer service experience; cash handling or sales experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate PC proficiency and Google Docs/Microsoft Office products

Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year
