- Inspect surfaces before and after treatment to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Use measurement tools like calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and coating thickness.
- Identify and correct any defects or inconsistencies.
- Technical Knowledge
- Read and interpret technical schematics and instructions for surface treatments.
- Understand various metals and the appropriate treatments for each type.

- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations regarding waste disposal and emissions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required. Technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in surface treatment or a related field. Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with surface preparation and treatment equipment, understanding of schematics and technical documents, and knowledge of various metal treatments.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual tasks, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to perform precise work and ensure high-quality finishes.
- Problem-Solving: Capability to identify and address issues during the surface treatment process.
- Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
