Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Weekend Registered Nurse to provide high-quality clinical services to patients in various community settings. As a Weekend Nursing Professional, you will deliver patient care within our organization's philosophy, policy, and standards of community health practice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care, including assessment, teaching, treatment, documentation, and care coordination.
  • Manage patient admissions and case management responsibilities in accordance with MGB Home Care's policies and standards of practice.
  • Utilize electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communications to ensure timely and thorough care.
  • Travel within MGB Home Care's geographic area to provide services.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
  • Current Massachusetts license as Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of one year previous nursing experience in an acute care setting, with prior home care experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with various computer software and knowledge of hand-held patient care computer devices.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and electronically.
  • Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, and adapt to changing situations.
