Pipefitter Specialist

Job Title: Pipefitter

Job Summary:

The Walsh Group is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team for the Fowler WRF Phase 2 Expansion project in Cumming, GA. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and replacing pipe systems and related components, including metal, plastic, ceramic, and composition materials. You will also install plumbing fixtures and work on vacuum piping systems, drainage, and sewage lines.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install piping and tubing systems for water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures

• Install vacuum piping systems, drainage, and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment

• Handle and move materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of verifiable experience preferred

• Experience in working with piping systems and fixtures, with adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machinery

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions

• Strong work ethic and desire to learn

• Good manual dexterity and ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
