Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Restore Therapy Services. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy services to our patients and supervising the performance of therapy services by our assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient's functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, self-care ability, and work capacity.
  • Identify equipment needs and fabricate splints as necessary.
  • Train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and prosthetic and/or orthotic devices.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and reports any changes in patient condition to the physician.
  • Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and participate in discharge planning for patients.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Current and valid therapy license in the state employed.
  • Familiarity with general computer use and functions.
