This is an onsite position at Five Cubes, Inc. in New York, NY.

We are seeking a Peoplesoft HCM Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Peoplesoft HCM development and administration. Key responsibilities include designing, coding, verifying, testing, documenting, amending, and refactoring programs/scripts and integration software services. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, including proficiency in at least one software engineering methodology, such as Agile or Waterfall. In addition, they should have hands-on programming experience in a business setting, be proficient with version control, and have effective written and verbal communication skills.

Critical Skills:

Peoplesoft Developer, Peoplesoft HRMS, North America Payroll, Peoplecode, application package, BI Publisher, Component Interface, SQR, Oracle, SQL, Integration broker, peopletools, Application Engine, PS Query, Integrations with 3rd Party.

Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on programming experience in a business setting.
  • Proficiency in at least one software engineering methodology, including but not limited to: Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, Extreme Programming (XP), Kanban, Lean, Rapid Application Development (RAD).
  • Experience applying a structured validation and testing method, including but not limited to: Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing.

  • Programming experience with the following language(s): including but not limited to, e.g Ruby, Python, Java, C++, COBOL, MS-SQL Developer, Oracle, .Net, DBA, JavaScript, Java, File management experience.
  • Familiarity with the following vendor-specific platforms: including but not limited to, List here (e.g. Azure, Windows Server platforms, RESTful APIs, or Linux).
  • Peoplesoft Developer, Peoplesoft HRMS, North America Payroll, PSFT administration, Peoplecode, application package, BI Publisher, Component Interface, SQR, SQL, Integration broker, peopletools, Application Engine, PS Query, Integrations with 3rd Party.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Estimated Salary: $130K - $140K DOE.
