We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. As a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Registered Nurse with experience in pediatric and/or emergency care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with congenital diaphragmatic hernia, a rare birth defect affecting approximately one in 3,000 fetuses.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with congenital diaphragmatic hernia, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in educational programs and training to stay current on best practices and research in congenital diaphragmatic hernia care.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in peer review.
Requirements
  • BSN from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred. Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered and must obtain BSN within 36 months of hire.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Preferred experience in pediatric and/or emergency care.
  • BLS certification provided by AHA.
