As a Field Engineer at Blattner Energy, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our renewable energy projects. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily production and costs for major work items, ensuring production, cost data, and safety are collected from prior days' work.
Additional Responsibilities- Support the Engineering team in reviewing, procuring, and constructing projects as needed.
- Assist Trade Superintendents in supervising subcontractors to ensure a safe, productive, and quality job is achieved, and costs are controlled in the field operations.
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with clients, subcontractors, vendors, landowners, co-workers, etc. to strengthen company position.
- Ensure the accuracy of all office operations, including timecards, new hire administration, purchase orders, and maintenance of computer equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies and state and federal regulations.
- Assist project management in communicating and negotiating with owners regarding major project decisions, constructing a short interval plan (two-week look ahead), and Plan of the Day.
- Assist the superintendent in expediting change orders and changes to the project budget, reviewing equipment with the Engineer and Owner to utilize the most cost-effective equipment approved for the construction site.
A two-year degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. Willingness to travel and relocate to the jobsite (100% travel with rotations).

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Construction experience.
