Job Summary:
Soliant is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a school setting. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with students in an elementary school to help them develop the skills they need to succeed in their daily lives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in an elementary school setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and weaknesses
- Design and implement adaptive equipment and strategies to promote independence and participation
Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Connecticut state licensure
- Previous experience working in a school setting
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:45am to 3:45pm. The Occupational Therapist will be working in an elementary school setting and will be required to travel district-wide.
