Job Summary

Trinity Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for planning and implementing habilitative/rehabilitative programs for individuals who exhibit speech/language/swallowing problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop goals for treatment
  • Provide direct patient care, including therapy sessions and education to patients and families
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology required
  • Demonstrated competence in an acute patient care setting for at least one year
  • Current licensure from the Iowa Department of Public Health
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association desirable
