About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solutions Engineer to join our Professional Services team at TransPerfect. As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing the GlobalLink Suite and integrating it with various ecosystems, including Machine Translation, CMS, eCommerce, and Marketing platforms.

As a technical expert, you will work closely with internal and external clients, including system integrators, enterprise solution teams, business users, and linguists. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing configuration requirements, drafting project plans, ensuring timely implementation, and coordinating with internal teams and client system integrators.

Our team works with a wide range of applications, including Adobe AEM, Sitecore, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Hybris, Drupal, and Episerver. You will have the opportunity to gain expertise in these applications and work closely with consulting engineers from these companies.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Solutions Architects team to gather and analyze configuration requirements from clients
  • Draft project plans containing implementation details and timelines, including risk analysis
  • Ensure deadlines for implementation are met
  • Coordinate installation, setup, and upgrade of GlobalLink connectors with internal teams and client system integrators
  • Coordinate and verify configuration tasks in GlobalLink tools based on client requirements
  • Act as primary technical point of contact and point of technical escalation for internal teams and external clients
  • Assist support team with client configuration issues
  • Be involved in the lifecycle of GlobalLink products by working closely with Product Management team, reporting client technical issues, and requesting new functionalities
  • Assist clients with coordination of GlobalLink connectors upgrades
  • Become spokesperson of the team for one or more GlobalLink products if desired
  • Deploy, troubleshoot, and upgrade GlobalLink suite of products
  • Create custom reports for clients in MySQL
  • Mentor new team members as needed
  • Prepare trainings and procedures to contribute to continuous improvement of team's work
  • Provide trainings as needed to clients
  • Contribute to internal projects
  • Complete all other tasks deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by supervisor
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in client-facing role
  • Project management and client solution implementation experience
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues and reading logs
  • Experience working with web technologies (web servers, application servers, Tomcat, etc.)
  • Experience with Linux
  • Understanding of and/or exposure to Web Content Management Systems (Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, Drupal, etc.), eCommerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP [Hybris], Magento, etc.), and other Content Management Systems (Veeva, Contentful, etc.)
