Key Responsibilities
  • Perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education aimed at improving/enhancing the patient's well-being.
  • Follow the established plan of care and make recommendations for changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Instruct patients, family, caregivers, and other members of the healthcare team in therapy areas within the scope of the physical therapy assistant.
Requirements
  • Current OTA licensure in the state of Tennessee.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
