A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Senior Autism Specialist to join our team in Mokena, IL. We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record of working with students with Autism and intellectual disabilities.

About the Role
  • We are looking for a Senior Autism Specialist to work on a full-time basis, 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for modeling and training classroom staff, attending IEP meetings, and spending time directly working with students.
  • Approximately 50 students, aged 5-22, will be assigned to the caseload, including some students with intensive needs.

We are a supportive team that values collaboration and continuous learning. Our ideal candidate will have a National BCBA license, experience in school settings or working with similar student populations, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model and train classroom staff to develop effective strategies for supporting students with Autism and intellectual disabilities.
  • Attend IEP meetings to ensure that individualized plans are in place to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Spend time directly working with students to provide hands-on support and guidance.
