Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at Trident Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients, ensuring their needs are met and their care is coordinated.
  • Manage the efficient flow of patient care, including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care and comfort, and arranging for admissions, testing, and discharges.
  • Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
  • Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans.
  • Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
