POSITION OVERVIEW
The Physical Therapist within the Temporary Staffing Pool (TSP) is responsible for assessing, developing, and executing individualized care plans for patients. This role adheres to professional standards while promoting leadership, collaborative teamwork, and outstanding customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts evaluations of patients' functional abilities and formulates detailed care strategies.
- Delivers tailored treatment that considers patients' age, cultural background, and specific disabilities.
- Provides both formal and informal education and support to colleagues and patients.
- Keeps precise written records and takes responsibility for maintaining a professional clinical setting.
- Ensures compliance with scheduling, billing, and continuing education requirements.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy is required. Candidates must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory. Proficiency in computer skills is essential.
