We are seeking a board-certified Functional Medicine Physician to join our team at Henry Ford Health System's Lifestyle, Integrative, Functional Medicine Department.

About the Role:

This is a hybrid position with both virtual and in-person visits, requiring a comprehensive approach to understanding and addressing the underlying causes of patient health concerns and disease prevention.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex health conditions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care
  • Provide education and support to patients on wellness, prevention, and early detection
  • Participate in clinical program development and implementation
  • Oversee mid-level medical staff and nursing and MA clinical staff
Requirements:
  • Board certification in Family or Internal Medicine
  • Board certification in Functional Medicine (IFM, A4M, MMI)
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in Functional Medicine
  • Lifestyle Medicine Board Certification (American College of Lifestyle Medicine, American Board of Lifestyle Medicine)
  • Strong understanding of health benefits of whole food plant-based nutrition
