Job Summary:
The Guest Relations Manager is a key member of the Ocean House team, responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences throughout the resort. This role requires a high level of organization, flexibility, and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Resort Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the front office and Bell/Valet, including management, training, and scheduling.
- Leadership: Function in the absence of senior management, interacting with staff and overseeing the satisfaction of guests.
- Crisis Management: Serve as the crisis commander in emergency situations, ensuring prompt and effective response.
- Administrative: Provide assistance and represent the General Manager as needed, communicating with internal and external constituents.
- Quality Control: Oversee service standards throughout the resort, ensuring a consistent guest experience at a high quality level.
- Guest Services: Personally greet guests, inspect guest rooms, and make regular contact with assigned guests to ensure their needs are met.
- Group Functions: Work closely with conference services and banquets to ensure smooth execution of group events.
- Emergency Response: Contact authorities and complete necessary paperwork in the event of an emergency.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: 2-5 years of work experience in the luxury hospitality industry, with a focus on customer service and leadership.
- Skills: Organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
