Position Overview:
The Residential Program Supervisor at Bellefaire JCB plays a crucial role within a collaborative team of specialists dedicated to delivering clinical guidance and oversight for clients in a residential setting.
This position encompasses various responsibilities, including but not limited to, behavior management, enhancement of daily living skills, data analysis, therapeutic environment maintenance, and instruction in both individual and small group formats within the residential programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the operations and execution of shift responsibilities within the residential program.
Provide both direct and indirect supervision to staff members during scheduled shifts.
Model effective practices and offer relevant training to team members throughout their shifts.
Implement and direct programming for clients by delegating, facilitating, and/or scheduling the execution of lesson plans, curricula, and activities aligned with individual educational and treatment goals.
Assist in coordinating meaningful program experiences for clients to ensure that their goals are addressed across various settings.
Deliver structured and organized daily activities and routines to enhance the effectiveness of treatment programs and facilitate client learning.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (such as psychology, special education, etc.) is preferred.
Fundamental understanding of autism spectrum disorders, child and adolescent development, human behavior, family dynamics, psychology, sociology, and behavioral theories.
Willingness to embrace multi-disciplinary and diverse approaches to treatment.
Demonstrated sensitivity in engaging with individuals from various backgrounds and the ability to collaborate with diverse groups possessing a range of strengths and abilities.
Capability to execute job responsibilities with a high level of initiative and independent judgment.Strong oral and written communication skills along with effective interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in utilizing organizational computer systems and software necessary for fulfilling essential job functions.
