Job Title: Cytotechnologist

We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at NR Consulting. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in the evaluation and reporting of negative gynecological cases, as well as the interpretation of abnormal gynecological, non-gynecological, and fine needle aspiration cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and report on negative gynecological cases
  • Interpret abnormal gynecological, non-gynecological, and fine needle aspiration cases
  • Identify diagnostic material and refer cases to pathologists as needed
  • Provide technical advice and perform cytopreparation and processing as needed
  • Maintain records of screening slide counts and other activities
  • Assist in gathering data relevant to quality assurance activities and continuous improvement activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology, Biology, or Life Sciences
  • Successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP accredited Cytotechnology program
  • CT (ASCP) certification
  • Recent hospital-based experience preferred
