Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department
- Supervise, coordinate, and guide nursing staff members to ensure seamless patient care
- Implement the philosophy, goals, and standards of care for the Emergency Department
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
- Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- One year of experience in an emergency, telemetry, or critical care area
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card
- Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Training in care of behavioral health/aggressive-combative patients, families, visitors, etc.
