Job Title: Surgical Technologist Level II Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist Level II Specialist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care as part of a dynamic surgical team. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment.
  • Prepare and maintain instrument tables, ensuring accurate counts and correct equipment setup.
  • Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team, passing sterile supplies and equipment as required.
  • Ensure proper infection control practices, adhering to AORN guidelines and OSHA regulations.
  • Participate in inventory management, ordering supplies and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
