Job Summary

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is sought by Wexford Health Sources to join our healthcare team in a correctional setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LPN will assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. This will involve conducting thorough physical, psychological, and social assessments of patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct patient care services as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the LPN must possess a current state license, current CPR certification, and a graduate degree from an accredited nursing school. A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
