Healthcare Assistant

SUNY Upstate Medical University is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant 2 to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant 2, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care activities, including assisting with simple procedures and responding to changing patient needs
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain a safe and supportive environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care delivery
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve goals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements and Qualifications: A minimum of one year of paid patient care experience is required for this role. We also require the ability to work 8 hour nights every other weekend and holidays.
Salary Range: The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
